Don’t think that because you’re a Indie filmmaker you’ll need a studio-sized budget to get the actors you want. We can work with budgets ranging from under $20,000 to well over $2-million.

What do you need to get started?

For Filmmakers: You’ll likely need a completed script, or at very least a well-developed pitch package including an enticing synopsis because, let’s face it, if you want a recognizable Actor to work for a lower fee, they need to be excited about your project. Make sure your story is compelling enough that they want to be part of your production.

You also need to have some degree of funding in place for practical reasons, but that can be as little as development funds to get things moving, but be realistic and expect that the talent you’re seeking may not be willing to attach to your project without funding ready to go. While things like this can happen, it’s extremely rare, and money in hand is always more meaningful than promises.

For Investors: We will work to pair you with projects that you’re either passionate about, or those with the greatest profit potential for return on your investment. Ideally a project can fulfill both requirements, but it’s your money, so you tell us what your goals are. So called “Vanity Projects” are not unheard of in Hollywood, and there’s nothing wrong with financing your way into the Industry, in fact that’s exactly what an Executive Producer does in most cases, and how plenty of “Industry” folks got their start. Funding is the single most important factor in allowing creatives such as Directors, Writers, and Actors to continue their craft. Without investors like you, there would literally be no “Hollywood.”
